In Desire, we experiment with creating sustainable, attractive, and inclusive urban spaces. Our goal is to present an ambitious and innovative way forward, where art, design, and architecture play key roles in exploring an irresistible circular society. The project taps into and learns from eight existing urban transformation projects throughout Europe. The Desire manifesto is the backbone of our project; it sets the direction for all our activities. To steer the process, we have formulated five principles that are tested at our eight experimental sites.
