Recommendation: Regional Innovation Model Handbook

Companion to city and regional administrators
“I believe that the New European Bauhaus must become a real movement which involves local and regional authorities and is not just another top-down project. It must be a project for everyone, not just the few. To be successful, this exercise must be socially, culturally and territorially inclusive.” (Cork City Councillor Kieran McCarthy)
This quote opens the RIM Handbook – and this is what the handbook intends: To be relevant for everyone, not just the few.
It is a dense and rich document, a comprehensive and practical resource, offering concrete examples and actionable “how-to” guides. It draws on the wealth of knowledge and experience from existing New European Bauhaus (NEB) projects and initiatives. One such initiative is Desire, showcased by a variety of tools, methods and transformation guides which you also find at our website.
You will also gain insights into the other five NEB Lighthouse Demonstrator projects, all part of the first generation of demonstrator projects, alongside initiatives like the NEB Labs, the NEB Compass, digiNEB, and other digital examples of the NEB movement.
The RIM Handbook was developed as part of the digiNEB project and is funded by the European Union.
